Jabamani represents India in Turkish Women Cup

Odisha defender Jabamani Tudu represented India in the Turkish Women Cup Internatioal Football Tournament, which has held at Alanya in Turkey from February 27 to March 5, 2019. India finished sixth in this tournament, winning one match and losing three.

The tournament was part of the preparation for the AFC Olympic Qualifiers Round 2 to be held in April, as well as the Senior Women’s SAFF Championship slated for March.

February 27: India lost to Uzbekistan (Burhanova Malika) 0-1.
March 1: India (Dangmei Grace 7’, Sanju 17’, 37’, 71’; Anju Tamang 51’, 83’; Ranjana 60’, 62’; Sumithra 77’, Indumathi 87’) beat Turkmenistan 10-0.
March 3: India lost to Romania 0-3.
March 5: India (Ashalata Devi, Dalima Chhibber, Dangmei Grace) lost to Kazakhstan 3-4 in penalty shootout (Full time 0-0).
